Oscar can now go down stairs!!! This is a huge accomplishment for the little-big guy. My lovely dh was trying to get him to do it from the top down. Great idea but overwhelming. (You know I could turn this into one of those life lessons for all type of post but I won't...). I suggested he start at the bottom and go up. After suggesting it a few times it was decided to give it a try. Oscar was placed on step #3 and down he went. He promptly sat at the bottom to receive his treat. DH then placed him on step #4 and down he went. The treat sit at the bottom repeated itself. This went on until Oscar was all the way at the top of the steps - about 10 steps up. He went down like no big deal. It was awesome! But, only a brief bit of celebrating as he promptly pooped all the treats out on our floor. Ugggh! Anyway, we will celebrate the accomplishments and hope for a better poop day tomorrow.I wish I could have taken a picture. When he first started going down he was literally hopping down the steps like a rabbit. It was so funny to watch. Eventually he got the hang of front paws, back paws, front paws, back paws. He's so awesome.
