What is my purpose out here in blog land?

I've been thinking about this blog lately:

What is it's purpose?

Why am I doing it?

Should I keep it going?

Is there anything I can contribute to the masses that may be of interest to someone? Anyone?

I had hoped when I started this blog 2 1/2 years ago that over time I would be able to answer those questions. I had hoped that this silly little blog would evolve into something of importance [to someone]. Although I still can't answer those questions I have realized that this silly little blog is important to me. I like the fact that it has taken the form of an online scrapbook. I've used it several times already to go back and find a photo, a date or the details of a story... So having said that I've decided to keep it going, for a little while longer anyway. The only change I'm going to provide more substance, sharing information that I personally find useful. Hopefully you will too.
